Exeter St David’s GRP Palisade Fencing
Network Rail required a more secure area to store the expensive drone surveying equipment they use.
Waux manufactured a GRP palisade fencing and gate system to surround the existing cabinet that was originally placed there.
Waux designed, fabricated and managed the installation of the fencing throughout the process.

Network Rail approached Waux as they required a secure GRP palisade fencing system to surround and effectively protect the high-value drone equipment stored within a cabinet unit.
Waux then began by surveying the site, which involved a visit from a site engineer to Exeter St David’s to measure and put forward a solution to fit the existing concrete base. Accurate measurements were needed in order to make the manufacturing process easier and ensure a successful installation.
The proposal was then presented to Network Rail, and the drawings were created to suit the site. Afterwards, the fabrication process commenced in the workshop once the drawings received approval. The proposed solution included mini bespoke panels and made-to-fit fencing as well as a gate, which provides access inside the compound, therefore fitting the desired standards.
The installation procedure was managed by Waux and was completed in a shorter time frame than originally expected, resulting in the customer being satisfied with the result.
Network Rail now has a secure fenced-off, protected area and peace of mind knowing the location where the drones are stored is now protected
