January

 

New Operations Centre

A good start the year, Waux moved into our new premises in Kent. See more photos in our blog post here.

February

 

Shotton & Neston Platforms

Manufacture of the platform boards for these stations started in 2023, and the project was concluded in February.

March

 

Coventry Sidings

The first delivery of GRP grating arrived on site in March, with works continuing on the driver’s walkways right up until August.

April

 

ISO Inspections

After two weeks of third party audits, Waux was awarded ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 certificates.

May

 

Lunch & Learn

Our first lunch and learn session was held in May, when we invited an installation team to learn more about GRP.

June

 

Forge Island

Throughout May and June, Waux built a number of bespoke access structures for the rooftop on Block A2 at the Forge Island development.

July

 

Hawthorn School

Thanks to the non-conductive properties of GRP, Waux fabricated sets of stairs and balustrades for access to the electricity substation at Hawthorn School.

August

 

Salisbury Hospital

Installation of the bespoke access arrangement on the rooftop at Salisbury Hospital was completed in August.

September

 

RIN Derby

An excellent event, Waux presented at the Rail Infrastructure Network exhibition.

October

 

Butler Water Treatment Works

We were pleased to support on a local project within the Wastewater industry, providing flooring around the tanks and various step-ups and stairs.

November

 

Aquaculture Industry

In November we focused on the fabrication of some complex structures for use within the aquaculture industry.

December

 

Falmouth Harbour

This month, we have been visiting ports and harbours around the UK, to assist with upgrades to existing structures at Falmouth Harbour and Port of Workington.
